The Background

Telecom Saver Solutions is a mobile and fixed line telecommunications provider based in Buckinghamshire. Working with businesses ranging from SMBs through to corporates, the company also specialises in the charity and education sectors.

Originally delivering solely fixed line and mobile solutions, a clear need was identified for Telecom Saver Solutions to extend its offering to include broadband services as well. Already working with Daisy Distribution since 2009, Telecom Saver Solutions found that not only did extending its business partnership into the broadband arena offer outstanding continuity of service, with Daisy Distribution the business could offer competitive pricing as well.

The Challenge

Known for the savings it consistently delivers to its customers, Telecom Saver Solutions has been growing in business since it was established in 2009. With a strong customer base already taking
packages that include line rental and call charges, Telecom Saver identified a new offering and began researching broadband solutions to offer to its customers.

Historically, the transfer of broadband from one provider to another has been complex. However, based on the great experience and prices offered on landline and call charges with Daisy Distribution, customers were starting to ask whether broadband services could also be added into the scope.

This need was particularly relevant for Keech Hospice Care; a 35-site hospice group for adults and children with terminal and life-limiting illnesses based in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.

The hospice had separate suppliers for its line rental and call charges, and two suppliers for its broadband services. Initially awarding the line rental and call charges business to Telecom Saver Solutions, Keech Hospice Care indicated that, as its broadband contracts expired, it would also prefer to place this business with its new supplier as well.

The Solution

Researching the broadband market, Telecom Saver Solutions found that Daisy Distribution continued to be its preferred choice of partner, thanks to its simplified process of setting up and transferring of broadband services.

Telecom Saver Solutions also found that Daisy Distribution offers unlimited usage and the best available broadband speeds – two benefits that, when coupled with the outstanding service and marketing support offered, added up to a great deal.

The Result

The benefits offered by Daisy Distribution also meant that moving Keech Hospice Care’s 35 sites onto a new broadband package was seamless and straightforward and, as well as significant bottom line savings, the charity now benefits from receiving just one bill per month, itemised for each site, making life much easier for the accounts team.
