Daisy Group Announces Interim Results

Daisy Group has announced its unaudited interim results for the half year ended 30 September 2011.

Revenues rose to £176.0m from £120.0m and EBITDA increased to £26.6m from £16.1m.

Matthew Riley, CEO of Daisy, commented: “We are pleased to report the results for this period, which have seen a healthy increase in market share, plus revenue and profit growth across all divisions and product areas, in spite of the difficult macro-economic environment.

Daisy Group completes acquisition of O-bit Telecom

Daisy Group plc (AIM: DAY), a leading provider of unified business communications services, today announces the acquisition of O-bit Telecom.

O-bit, based in Buckinghamshire, is a key competitor of Daisy Group in the reseller channel, having enjoyed rapid growth since its establishment in 2002. Its products are aimed at internet service providers (ISPs), telecoms resellers and IT services organisations, reselling to SME and mid-market business customers.

Daisy acquisition of SpiriTel

Daisy Group plc (AIM: DAY), a leading service provider of unified business communications services, is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with the SpiriTel Directors on the terms of a recommended cash offer to be made by Daisy Group for the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of SpiriTel at a price of 51.5 pence per SpiriTel Share, valuing the share capital of SpiriTel (on a Fully Diluted basis) at £27.3m.

Acquisition of telecoms division of Redstone PLC

Daisy Group plc (DAY.L, ?Daisy? or the ?Company?), the complete provider for communication services in the UK, announces that it has today entered into an agreement to acquire the telecommunications division of Redstone PLC (?Redstone Telecom?) for £17m.

Daisy has conditionally agreed to acquire Redstone Telecom, which comprises the assets of Redstone PLC?s fixed line business and also its wholly owned subsidiary Symphony Holdings Ltd, which largely comprises the mobile service provider and distribution business. As part of the Transaction, an agreement has been reached for the supply of fixed line and mobile services to the Group.

Daisy Group Plc has announced the acquisition of the trading assets of AT Communications Group Plc and Eurotel Ltd.

The acquisitions are the first following the company?s flotation on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and further strengthen the business? ambitions to provide a converged product offering specifically for the SME and mid-market business customer.

Daisy announces intention to be listed on AIM

Daisy has announced its intention to be listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

The company will reverse into the publicly listed business Freedom4 Group PLC, who at the same time will acquire Vialtus Solutions (formerly Pipex Business), a company that provides a range of managed IP hosting and connectivity solutions to more than 5,000 customers.

Daisy acquisition of customer base worth £8.4m

Daisy Communications has started the year in strong fashion with the acquisition of more customers into its ever-growing base.

The Lancashire-based provider has acquired 3,700 customers from Wiltshire-based 4Com Ltd. And the deal, its 19th to date, sees customer numbers surpass the 32,000 mark and highlights the company?s continuing ambition to consolidate the communications market.
