IT services and business communications provider, Daisy Group has launched an innovative new apprenticeship scheme – the Digital Apprentice Programme.

The Digital Apprentice Programme will provide those with a thirst for IT and technology with the opportunity to embark on a new career journey with the UK-wide company, for roles including network engineer, project manager, service analyst, IT apprentice and HR apprentice.

Entrepreneur Matt Riley is returning to Britain?s most infamous boardroom as one of Lord Sugar?s trusted business advisors for the grand finale of the BBC?s Apprentice.

The 38-year-old re-joins Lord Sugar as one of four guest interviewers, drafted in to grill this year?s candidates on their own entrepreneurial ideas and business plans.

Daisy shortlisted for Lancashire Telegraph Business Awards

The Daisy Group is celebrating after being shortlisted for the Lancashire Telegraph?s Business Awards Training and Development category.

Earlier this year Daisy enhanced its internal training with the introduction of ?The Daisy Academy?, an in-depth training department led by the business? Learning and Development Team. Working with external organisations NVQ, CIM and ACCA, Daisy is able to support its employees throughout a range of different training areas and qualifications.

Since its launch the academy has had great results in all areas of the business, with sales and telemarketing staff smashing targets and 120 staff completing NVQ qualifications in just one year.

Daisy will find out whether it has been successful when the winners are announced at an awards evening held at Ewood Park in Blackburn on Friday 11th November ? fingers crossed!
