Smaller UK Retailers have “woken up” to digital transformation according to Daisy Group but still lag behind other sectors

  • The number of UK retail businesses with 1,000 employees or less with formal digital transformation strategies has doubled in the last year from 27% to 56%
  • However, overall 63% of similar-sized UK businesses said they have a formal digital transformation strategy
  • Big data, cloud technology and mobile are the key areas of investment but companies increasingly looking at Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics
