Key Principles of the General Data Protection Regulation

The GDPR Check can be downloaded by clicking on the download button opposite and then running the file (.exe). The installer is WisdomCheck.exe. Copy the file to a suitable location and execute. Accept any security warnings which may be issued by your operating system or anti-virus software. By default, the application will be installed to C:\Program Files\WisdomCheck. Modify the install location if required.

Pre-Requisites
You will require local administration rights to install the software.
You will require permission to view and open documents from all directories to be scanned.

These terms and conditions refer to the free ‘Data Management Risk Assessment’ offer brought to you by Daisy Communications Limited t/a Daisy Corporate Services, whose registered office is at Daisy House, Lindred Road Business Park, Nelson, Lancashire BB9 5SR (“Daisy Corporate Services”). Daisy Corporate Services is offering a free Data Management Risk Assessment (“Offer”). By registering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Once registered Daisy Corporate Services will analyse a sample of your file data and generate a report. A maximum of 20,000 servers will be analysed per company. Daisy Corporate Services will perform a security assessment which will make recommendations against a good practice benchmark only.
There is no obligation to purchase the full assessment.

Daisy Corporate Services does not warrant or otherwise guarantee that the Recommendations will enable you to comply with any applicable laws (including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation). Daisy shall have no liability to you for any failure by you to comply with any applicable laws. By requesting this assessment you consent to Daisy Corporate Services storing and processing your personal data. You shall ensure you have received all necessary consents and approvals to ensure that you are entitled to transfer the relevant data to Daisy Corporate Services so as to allow Daisy Corporate Services to perform the Offer.

Daisy Corporate Services decision on all matters relating to the offer are final.

Daisy Corporate Services reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to change or withdraw any of the Offer at any time.

Daisy Corporate Services shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

Daisy Corporate Services reserves the right to withdraw this Offer at any time, with or without notice. Daisy Corporate Services shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of data) suffered by entering this free assessment Offer. Daisy’s failure to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Offer is governed by English law and by entering the incentive you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. E&OE.

What next?

We will aim to issue your assessment report within a week, and leave you in peace to absorb the information it provides. Your Daisy account manager will follow up with you and provide any further information you may require. After you have received your free assessment, there is no obligation to buy the full report or the whole GDPR Check & Protect solution. This simple assessment will provide you with valuable information to show you where your data vulnerabilities are and help you manage your data effectivity to meet the GDPR, however you progress it further.
